Job description

As a Service Engineer at NTS Drachten you are responsible for the (preventive) maintenance of machines, building installations and tools. You will solve malfunctions, contribute to improvements and ensure the efficient operation of our installations and machinery. You are part of the technical service department and work closely with various departments including production and facility services, in addition you have regular contact with various suppliers.

Furthermore, your duties are:

• Locate, analyze and solve malfunctions;

• Perform small-scale modifications and repairs to installations;

• Managing maintenance contracts;

• Thinking along about optimization of the production lines.

Job requirements

• A completed MBO education (preferably in the direction of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics);

• You speak Dutch and English in word and writing;

• Extensive experience as service and maintenance engineer in a (technical) production environment;

• Knowledge of electrical engineering, hydraulics and pneumatics and experience in mechanical maintenance and electrical troubleshooting;

• You are solution-oriented and proactive and able to work accurately and independently;

• You communicate easily and are a team player.
