  • Translate customer and system requirements into detailed electrical designs and specifications.

  • Actively design and engineer electrical cabinets, wiring, harnesses, and assemblies, working hands-on alongside the design engineers.

  • Depending on the project, independently execute design work and manage associated activities.

  • Perform or coordinate detailed calculations, simulations, and modelling to dimension and verify designs.

  • Design and execute test methods and setups; validate compliance (e.g. CE, UL, SEMI, EMC, LVD, MD).

  • Investigate and resolve design deviations and cross-disciplinary technical issues.

  • Present innovations and improvement opportunities to internal and external stakeholders.

Project & team management

  • Organize and manage electrical engineering work packages, including capacity/resource planning (local and international teams).

  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and take corrective actions if needed.

  • Ensure structured documentation of designs, tests, and technical decisions.

  • Report on progress, quality, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.

  • Supervise, train, and guide engineers, supporting both their technical and professional growth.

  • Ensure effective knowledge sharing and provide internal training where relevant.

  • Comply with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • At least 8 years of experience in electrical system design within high-tech / mechatronics environments.

  • Strong expertise in hands-on design, including cabinet design, EMC, system wiring, and integration.

  • Proven experience leading technical teams, including international collaboration.

  • Skilled in electrical compliance (CE, UL, SEMI, LVD, MD; EN60204, IEC 12100, ISO 13849).

  • Proficient with design tools (E3Series, Solid Edge, NX, TeamCenter).

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills; capable of balancing hands-on work and team coordination.
