Job Description

Our Global IT Business Applications
Our core IT platform integrates global ERP, BI, CRM, PDM/PLM, and MES, supported by specialized business applications. This suite is rapidly expanding with new digital solutions designed to drive business improvements and create value. A modern, secure IT infrastructure connects Group IT solutions with locally managed systems. An important application for NTS is our global ERP, where knowledge of ERP (business) processes and experience with new ERP implementations are considered a strong asset.

Our Global Business Applications Team
Based for the most part at our Eindhoven headquarters, the Global IT Business Applications Team manages all Group IT Business applications. Acting as “product owner,” the team designs, builds, implements, and supports solutions in accordance with ITIL, Cobit, IPMA, and Prince2 standards. The Global Business Application Manager bridges Group IT with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and their delegates, ensuring enterprise-wide application effectiveness. You have several reports-to.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle and continuity of support of global IT Business applications.

• Integrate local applications into the Group IT control framework.

• Translate business requirements into functional IT specifications in line with the “IT Inflow” policy.

• Design, build, implement, and support enterprise-wide IT Business applications, ensuring compatibility, data integrity, interfaces, access control, and security.

• Knowledge champion on ERP Business processes and advising on the current and on a new global ERP system.

• Oversee governance, compliance, change management, and audit requirements.

• Lead a team of Application Managers, each responsible for specific business domains.

• Manage programs and projects, including roadmaps, dashboards, capacity, financial control, and reporting.

• Monitor legal and compliance requirements, advising BPOs on necessary changes and projects.

• Support IT integration for business unit acquisitions.

• Handle escalated incidents and problems beyond standard IT-Business support.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (HBO+)

• 5–10 years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of business models, processes, and IT Business solutions in a global manufacturing environment. Able to act as a business analyst when needed.

• Proven track record in managing teams, projects, and change according to professional standards.

• Proven track record managing ERP solutions.

• Skilled at engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels, from key users to senior executives.

• Structured, accurate, and disciplined, with the ability to coach others in following controls.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience managing external partners and handling escalations including consultants and SLA support partners.

• Resilient under pressure, inspiring, and a strong team player.

• Organizationally sensitive and adaptable in approach.

• Experienced in Project Management, Cobit, and ITIL.

• Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).

• Drivers license
