Job description
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes- direct experience in
mechanics, electronics, control systems, pneumatics,
hydraulics in semiconductor industry.
Knowledge in Assembly of mechatronics systems, linear
motors, sensors, servos, actuators, dynamics, controls, etc.
Complex mechatronic systems for test and qualification of
design changes.
Exposure to multi-disciplinary projects, such as imaging/optical
systems, semiconductor, or lithography preferred but not
mandatory.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills to identify and able to perform root cause analysis &
resolve problems on a conceptual and advanced trouble
shooting level.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal
communication skills to communicate effectively with cross-
functional teams.
Proficiency in reading and updating technical drawings.
Experience in Cleanroom.
4. Responsibilities & Authorities
Responsible for all technical support of new product
introduction, including product improvement, component
production, and the entire process of product assembly and
packaging.
Responsible for effective change management: implementation
of Engineering Change Notice & get customer approval for
Engineering Change Request.
Collaboration and Communication: Facilitating communication
and collaboration between different departments. Providing
feedback to design/NPI engineers on manufacturability
issues.
Contact the customer's designated personnel on product-
related technical issues.
Responsible for training the assembly team and implementing
improvements within the production team.
Process Development: Developing and documenting
manufacturing processes, maintain work instructions, and
quality control procedures. Ensuring that processes are robust,
repeatable, and efficient.
Manage customer documentation (drawings, specification,
etc.)
Manufacturing Support: Overseeing and supporting pilot
builds and production ramps. Identifying and resolving any
manufacturing issues that arise during the
transition. Supporting the selection and validation of tooling
and equipment.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring that the high volume meet quality
standards and regulatory requirements. Developing and
implementing quality control plans. Participating in Failure
Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other risk assessment
processes.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying and implementing
opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing
processes. Analysing data to identify trends and areas for
optimization.
Any other tasks as assigned by Reporting Officer.
