Job description

At NTS, we make it possible together. Technology inspires and drives us; it is our passion. Every day we work on unique solutions to complex challenges. Whether it's ultra complex or ultra precise solutions, we are proud of what we do and what we deliver. Do you want to exceed customer expectations and achieve the highest customer satisfaction? Are you driven, analytical, and energized by managing complex production environments? Then get started as Production Planner at NTS Singapore and let's make it possible together.

Job Description

As Production Planner at NTS Singapore, you are responsible for translating customer demand into executable and capacity-feasible production plans. You play a critical role in ensuring material readiness, production flow stability, and delivery performance across High Mix High Volume (HMHV) and High Mix Low Volume (HMLV) product families. Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Buyers, and Production, you ensure alignment between demand, materials, capacity, and shop floor execution.

Furthermore, your key responsibilities are:

  • Building and owning the weekly and monthly Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring alignment with demand forecasts, firm orders, available capacity, and tooling readiness

  • Issuing finite daily and weekly production schedules while optimizing sequencing to reduce bottlenecks, setup times, and inefficiencies

  • Collaborating closely with Buyers and Material Planners to eliminate shortages, manage open POs, and proactively mitigate supply risks

  • Conducting capacity vs. load analysis to identify constraints early and proposing countermeasures such as overtime, subcontracting, or resequencing

  • Supporting Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) by providing insights on forecast accuracy, inventory projections, and capacity limitations

  • Maintaining planning master data (BOMs, routings, cycle times, lead times) in ERP systems to ensure accurate and reliable outputs

  • Driving continuous improvement through KPI monitoring (OTIF, schedule adherence, WIP turns, forecast accuracy) and applying Lean tools to stabilize and enhance planning processes

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field

  • 3–7 years of experience in HMHV or HMLV manufacturing environments (precision engineering, mechatronics, electronics, machining, or assembly preferred)

  • Strong expertise in finite scheduling, production control, and constraint management

  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (Navision experience is a strong advantage)

  • Analytical and structured thinker with the ability to balance short-term operational issues with long-term improvements

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence supervisors, PMO, buyers, and engineers to align with production plans

Your Terms of Employment

At NTS, we combine our passion for technology with innovative solutions to complex challenges. You get the freedom and confidence to fully use and develop your talents in a dynamic and energetic environment. We invest both in technology and in you as a future colleague! Your unique challenge at NTS includes at least the following conditions:

  • Competitive salary

  • Annual Wage Supplement

  • Term Life & Medical Insurance Coverage

  • Personal growth and development opportunities through training and/or education

  • 18 days of Annual Leave
