Job description

As a Project Buyer, you represent the procurement function within (customer) projects. You play a key role in supplier selection and ensure that all procurement processes seamlessly align with project objectives. You work closely with project managers, group-level commodity buyers, and Supplier Quality Engineers, reporting to the Team Lead Supply Chain Services.

You responsibilities also include:

• Selecting and approving suppliers based on customer requirements and relevant commodity strategies;

• Negotiating project packages (across QLTC) and monitoring the CPR roadmap;

• Developing and executing procurement strategies in collaboration with Commodity Buyers and Supplier Quality Engineers;

• Ensuring the timely availability of materials by placing and following up on project orders;

• Optimizing procurement costs in line with the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) mindset.
  

Job Requirements

• Higher Professional Education (HBO) working and thinking level, preferably in Industrial Engineering and Management, Supply Chain, or a related field;

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar procurement role;

• Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude toward continuous process improvement;

• Experience with ERP systems (ERP LN / Infor) and an affinity for IT tools;

• Excellent negotiation skills and communication skills in both Dutch and English.

• Salary from €4,863 to €6,968 per month, depending on experience and qualifications;
