Job description
As a CNC Turner at NTS in Drachten, you are independently able to program and set up our machines (Hembrug CNC 100 with Siemens control) using software. You can read drawings and work instructions well and always look for technical challenges. In addition, you work at the highest level of accuracy: you inspect products and adjust tools using a microscope.

You work with high-tech machines and high-end customers, producing unique parts of exceptional quality. You work with high-quality and exotic materials, making your work extra varied and technically challenging. Do you recognize yourself in this? In addition, your tasks are:

• Preparing the clamping and securing and checking of tools, products, and materials;

• Determining the machining conditions and measuring products interim and post-production using measuring machines;

• Making unique ultra-precise products with micron accuracy, mostly single pieces and sometimes small series;

• Actively participating in process and improvement proposals;

• Working according to a schedule and coordinating with colleagues;

• Closely collaborating with colleagues from the measurement room, work preparation, and other machining departments.

Requirements

• Relevant MBO education (for example, Machining Technologist or Mechanical Engineering) or work experience in a similar position;

• You can work very accurately and work both independently and in a team;

• You have a positive attitude and contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere;

• You are willing to work in 2-shifts (17.19% allowance) (6:00 am to 2:30 pm and 2:15 pm to 11:00 pm (Mon to Thu and Friday until 9:45 pm).

• Salary of €3,000 - €4,200 based on full-time, depending on educational background and experience;
