Job Description

As a Buyer Maintenance & Tools (NPR), you are responsible for the procurement of parts and services for both planned and unplanned maintenance within our technical production environment. You are also responsible for the purchase of tools and the accurate follow-up of these deliveries. In this role, you ensure a good balance between availability, delivery time, and costs, in coordination with the maintenance organization. Where necessary, you identify improvement opportunities and optimize the existing procurement process.

Furthermore, your tasks include:

• Purchasing technical parts for planned and corrective maintenance;

• Purchasing and coordinating external services from suppliers and service partners;

• Weighing speed of delivery versus price, in consultation with the maintenance department, to minimize downtime of installations;

• Creating and managing items in Ultimo and Infor LN, including supplier data, prices, delivery times, and other relevant item information;

• Supporting in setting up and optimizing inventory management of maintenance parts and tools;

• Preparing planned maintenance by timely making the necessary parts and external services available;

• Maintaining contacts with suppliers and monitoring delivery times and agreements made;

• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvement within the procurement process, in consultation with our Global Procurement to achieve economies of scale between different locations.

Requirements

• MBO+ / HBO level of education, preferably in a technical or logistics direction;

• Experience in technical procurement, maintenance, or working in a production environment;

• Experience with a maintenance management system (preferably Ultimo) and/or ERP systems (such as Infor LN);

• Knowledge of technical components and maintenance processes is a plus;

• Strong organizational and communication skills;

• Decisive and able to make the right balance between delivery time, availability, and costs;

• A proactive and results-oriented attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Salary from €3,713 to €5,082 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications; (based on operational buyer A to C)
