Job Description

As Production Engineer (Factory) at NTS Eindhoven you play a key role in ensuring high-quality production in a high-tech, low-volume manufacturing environment. You act as the technical expert within the factory, continuously improving production processes and resolving issues at the root. Quality is your top priority — you ensure that every product meets the highest standards while optimizing manufacturability, efficiency, and reliability.

You are the technical link between engineering, production, and quality. You support ongoing operations and drive improvements that prevent errors rather than fixing them afterward. Whether it’s solving structural issues, introducing engineering changes, or improving yield — you make it happen.

Furthermore, your Key Responsibilities are:

• Safeguard product and process quality by identifying root causes of production issues and implementing robust solutions.

• Improve processes, tools, and documentation to reduce variation and increase first-time-right performance.

• Support and guide technicians with technical challenges during assembly, testing, and integration.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including standardization and error-proofing (poka-yoke).

• Evaluate and implement engineering changes with minimal disruption to operations.

Job Requirements

• You are a go-getter with an MBO level 4 or HBO education and at least three years of work experience in a similar position in Mechatronics.

• You have a first time right mindset.

• You have extensive knowledge of assembly and manufacturing processes and their associated quality assurance, including the applied production tools and control/test equipment. You are familiar with FMEA, 8D methodology, process capability, and statistical analysis methods such as SPC.

• Good communication and written skills are very important, in both Dutch and English.

• You work accurately and can clearly and convincingly present viewpoints, knowing how to approach the right people.

• Salary from €3500 to €5500;
