Job Description

As an Account Manager at NTS Hengelo, you are the face of our site towards a select group of leading customers in the high-tech Semicon industry. You work from Hengelo and maintain intensive contact with customers operating in an environment where quality, precision, and delivery reliability leave no room for negotiation. This requires someone who sets the bar high for themselves and for the collaboration.


Internally, your role is just as complex. You navigate within an organisation with various disciplines, locations, and interests. From NPI and Operations to Logistics and other NTS sites in the Netherlands and abroad: you know how to find, convince, and mobilize the right people. You are not only the voice of the customer internally, but also the connector who brings structure to a dynamic environment.

You report to the Commercial Manager and are part of a professional commercial team that collaborates with Sales Engineers, Logistics Planners, NPI Project Managers, and Operations. Your contribution is visible and measurable: in the quality of the relationship, the sharpness of the quotes, and the growth of the account.


Furthermore, your responsibilities include:

  • Developing, securing, and monitoring strategic account plans and long-term customer relationships;

  • Engaging at all levels, from the work floor to C-level, and seamlessly aligning communication with the conversation partner;

  • Internally acting as the customer's representative, and providing the MT and the Commercial Manager with sharp commercial insights;

  • Negotiating complex quotes and contracts with high technical and commercial complexity;

  • Aligning customer goals and technical execution with internal project teams on-site and colleagues from other NTS sites;

  • Representing NTS at customer visits, audits, and relevant (inter)national events;

  • Creating structure and overview in an environment where priorities can change quickly.


Requirements

We are looking for a strong, diplomatic conversationalist who knows how to navigate both complex customer and internal stakeholder environments:

  • HBO+ or university level of education, preferably with a technical or commercial background;

  • Experience in account management or a commercially customer-oriented role, preferably in the high-tech manufacturing industry or Semicon sector;

  • Demonstrably strong in building and maintaining relationships at multiple levels, from operational to executive;

  • Accustomed to complex internal environments with multiple disciplines and interests, and able to connect and steer within them;

  • Analytically strong, entrepreneurial and independent, but also explicitly a team player;

  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both written and spoken.

With this challenge, we offer the following benefits:

  • Salary from €6,000 to €8,000 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications;
