Job Description

As a Commercial/Administrative Assistant at NTS Eindhoven, you are the pivot around which the daily business process revolves. Our Precision Machining business unit is a close-knit manufacturing company of about 40 colleagues, part of NTS Eindhoven, but with the short lines, personal involvement, and down-to-earth attitude of an SME. Here, we know each other, speak directly to each other, and do what is promised.

You are the one who makes that possible. From your central position, you daily interact with work preparation, planning, production, and supply chain. You ensure that customers are informed on time and correctly, that orders are monitored, and that the inside sales department runs smoothly. Not from behind a large desk at a distance, but right in the middle of the company, with your hands on the wheel.

The role requires a strong personality who is proactive, resourceful, and knows how to take action. Whether it's sending out a quote, calling back a customer, following up on a delivery, or bringing the right people together at the right time: you arrange it.

Furthermore, your tasks include:

• Monitoring and following up on orders, quotes, and customer inquiries from A to Z;

• Serving as the first point of contact for customers and suppliers, by phone and email;

• Supporting in preparing calculations and quotes in close collaboration with work preparation;

• Switching between the planning, production, logistics, and work preparation departments to ensure smooth processes;

• Maintaining and updating customer data, order administration, and relevant documentation;

• Occasionally assisting with procurement tasks and supplier contact;

• Contributing to a pleasant work atmosphere by also paying attention to the little things that make a difference.

  
  

Requirements

We are looking for an independent, practically oriented colleague who thrives in a close-knit and results-oriented company:

• Work experience in an administrative, commercial, or support role within a manufacturing or technical company;

• Good command of Excel; experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Navision is a plus;

• Proactive attitude: you identify, take action, and arrange things without needing a push each time;

• Strong in communication and able to switch between different levels and departments;

• Accurate, structured, and able to monitor multiple things simultaneously without losing sight of the overview;

• Excellent command of the Dutch language in speech and writing, for customer contact and internal communication;

• Proficiency in English language in speech and writing is a plus.

• Salary ranging from €3,600.00 to €4,600.00 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications;

You will work within the Precision Machining business unit: a close-knit and skilled team of about 40 specialists in precision machining. The average age is around 40 years, creating a nice balance between experience and energy.
