Job description
As Manager Operations at NTS Hengelo, you are the driving force behind our operational processes and the success of our production department. You are responsible for managing a number of team leaders, who in turn are responsible for as many as 150 employees. You play a key role in managing the SQLTC (Safety, Quality, Logistics, Technology, and Costs), always focusing on performance while keeping the well-being of your employees a top priority.

As a member of the Management Team (MT), you work closely with other departments and often represent the organization to our customers and clients. You have a hands-on mentality and know how to achieve more, even when things are not going as they should, with humor and a sense of perspective. You focus on results without losing sight of the human aspect.

Your responsibilities also include:

• Leading and coaching the team leaders and indirectly contributing to the motivation of over 150 employees on the production floor;

• Achieving operational objectives in the area of SQLTC;

• Maintaining customer contact and contributing to customer-oriented solutions and processes;

• Actively contributing to the organization's strategic direction by participating in the Management Team;

• Improving and optimizing work processes and operational efficiency;

• Creating a positive and motivating work atmosphere, with humor and a light-hearted approach at the center.

Requirements

• HBO/WO level of education with experience in a managerial role in an operational environment;

• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial position, preferably with experience in managing different teams in a production environment;

• Experience in QTL management and knowledge of how to steer these elements to achieve better performance;

• Strong communication skills, both internally with your team and externally with customers;

• A problem solver with a positive, pragmatic approach, able to remain calm under pressure.
