Do you want to discover what is possible together? As NPI Planner, you play a crucial role in realizing new customer projects - from prototype to series production. Think of complex manufacturing parts, assembled modules, and complex assemblies for customers in the manufacturing industry. You are the link between engineering, production, procurement, and project management, building a repeatable logistics chain ready for scaling. Will you ensure that new high-tech products run smoothly through our factory? Then start as an NPI Planner at NTS Hengelo and let's make it possible together.
Job description
As an NPI Planner at NTS Hengelo, you are responsible for the complete logistical setup of new customer projects. You ensure that the right materials, processes, and schedules are ready on time, so that the production process can start smoothly - and is scalable.
You work on long-term projects where you keep an overview, identify risks, and initiate improvement proposals. No day is the same: you switch between ERP configuration, customer contact, prototype planning, and structural handover to operations.
Furthermore, your responsibilities are:
Develop project schedules including material availability, processing capacity, and supply chain steps;
Set up logistical parameters and processes in the ERP system (e.g. for lead times, inventory levels, MOQs, traceability);
Coordinate material flows and availability of critical parts and prototypes;
Assess technical changes and adjust planning and material requirements;
Establish phase-in / phase-out schedules with corresponding inventory strategy;
Advise project leaders on feasibility, risks, and progress;
Ensure internal coordination with production, procurement, logistics, and dispatch;
Maintain contact with customers about project planning, deliveries, and logistical issues;
Transfer repeatable processes and schedules to operations;
Continuously improve supply chain processes and KPI performance.
Requirements
HBO or WO level of education, preferably in logistics, engineering, or supply chain;
Minimum of 3 years of experience with NPI or project-based production;
Practical approach and ability to think in processes;
Strong communication skills, both internally and towards customers;
Knowledge of ERP systems and Office (Excel is a must) packages;
Knowledge of ERP-LN is a plus;
Good command of Dutch and English in speech and writing.
