Job description
At NTS, we make it possible together. Technology inspires and drives us; it is our passion. Every day, we work on unique solutions for complex challenges. Whether it's ultra-complex or ultra-precise solutions, we are proud of what we do and what we deliver.
Do you want to discover together what is possible? Are you looking for an HR role where you not only advise but also truly build the organization behind it? And do you want to take on that role at a high-tech manufacturing company that will double its turnover and workforce worldwide in the coming years? Then start as an HR Business Partner at NTS Eindhoven and let's make it possible together!
Job Description
As an HR Business Partner, you will join the HR team of NTS Eindhoven and be the sparring partner of the local management. The team works for various companies: our largest site Mechatronics Assembly (assembly) and a number of smaller manufacturing companies including Precision Machining, NTS Helmond, and NTS Bergeijk, active in machining, sheet metal work, and industrial spraying. This means you will work with a broad population of employees, with diverse levels and tasks.
Your role consists roughly of two parts. About 60 percent of your time you are a business partner: advising the MT and managers on organizational design, change processes, talent development, and complex HR issues. The remaining 40 percent is focused on the HR organization itself: processes, systems, data analysis, and optimization. You ensure that our HR foundation grows along with the company's ambition. Learning & development is also part of your role: together with our global Learning Specialist, you shape learning and development within the business units you work for, for example by creating a training plan. In addition, there is plenty of room for projects, both locally and internationally. Think of the implementation of a new international HRIS and performance management system together with colleagues in the Czech Republic and Singapore, and topics such as QMS, salary policy, and job classification.
You work in a team with a Senior HR Business Partner, a colleague HR Business Partner, two HR Officers, and recruitment. You report to the Senior HR Business Partner and work closely with our Managing Directors. You will have a lot of freedom and ownership with us, and we expect you to take it: giving requested and unsolicited advice is part of the role. For those with the ambition and capabilities, this position offers clear growth opportunities towards a senior HR role in the long term.
Furthermore, your responsibilities include:
Advising and supporting the MT and other management on organizational design, change, and HR activities;
Executing and securing the annual HR processes within your scope;
Coaching managers and employees on HR topics and, together with our global Learning Specialist, shaping learning & development for your business units, such as a training plan;
Translating HR data into management information and concrete improvement proposals for the business;
Optimizing HR processes and systems so that the organization can scale up without losing structure;
Leading or supporting local and international HR projects, such as the implementation of a new HRIS and performance management system;
Preparing advisory processes towards the Works Council and coordinating with executing bodies on social issues.
Requirements
We are looking for a strong HR professional with business insight and the following background:
HBO or university level of education, preferably in HRM or business administration;
Conviction and courage to provide advice at MT level, both when requested and unsolicited;
At least five years of experience as an HR advisor or HR Business Partner, preferably in a (technical) manufacturing environment;
Demonstrable experience with HR projects and improving processes and systems;
Strong analytical skills: you enjoy working with HR data and translating numbers into advice that helps management further;
Current knowledge of Dutch labor law;
Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
Your Benefits
At NTS, we combine our passion for technology with innovative solutions for complex challenges. You will have the freedom and trust to fully utilize and develop your talents in a dynamic and energetic environment. We invest in both technology and in you as a future colleague!
With this challenge, we offer the following benefits:
Salary ranging from €5,000 to €6,500 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications;
Over 40 days off: 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days with a full-time position;
Personal development and growth opportunities, for example through training and education;
Remote work policy: 1 day of remote work per week with a net allowance of €2.40 per day;
Annual budget of €150 gross to spend freely, including for vitality, bike plan, or gym via the Alleo app;
Travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometer (max. 50 km one way) or full reimbursement of public transport costs;
Excellent pension scheme via PME;
Laptop and mobile phone;
Free fresh fruit at work.
