Job description
As a Manufacturing Engineer at NTS Drachten, you are responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing production processes and tools within a high-tech production environment. You act as a link between customer requirements, engineering, and production, and make a significant contribution to the industrialization of new products (NPI).

Your tasks also include:

• Translating customer requirements into efficient and manufacturable production solutions and methods;

• Assessing drawings for manufacturability and advising engineering and customers;

• Creating and validating production processes, including test methodologies and PFMEAs;

• Identifying bottlenecks in production and proposing improvements;

• Designing and implementing new or improved (measurement) tools and processes;

• Advising on the procurement of machines, tooling, and measuring equipment;

• Supporting production during prototyping and scaling up to series production.

Job Requirements

• A relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering & Management) or work experience in a similar role;

• At least 5 years of experience in a technical production environment;

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and experience with PFMEA;

• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English;

• Strong analytical skills, result-oriented, and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.

This challenge comes with the following benefits:

• Salary from €4,700 to €6,250 based on a full-time position, depending on education and experience;
