Job description

As a Manufacturing Technician, you are part of the Operations team and play a key technical role between production and support departments.

You are close to the shop floor and ensure that production processes run as smoothly and stably as possible. When a process (or product) does not go according to plan, you dive in. You analyze the problem, work with colleagues involved to find the cause, and provide a practical solution.

In addition, you are part of a Product Management Team. Within this team, you work on improving products and processes. You bring knowledge and experience from production practice and help identify, start, and execute optimization projects. This way, you not only focus on solving today's problems but also actively work on better performance of our products and processes in the long term.

You are visible on the production floor but also play a crucial role in structurally improving our products and processes.

Furthermore, your tasks include:

·        Resolving daily and ad-hoc technical problems that arise during the production process;

·        Analyzing process disruptions and determining the most effective solution together with production;

·        Identifying recurring problems and translating them into structural improvements;

·        Actively participating in the Product Management Team and contributing to the product strategy with your technical and operational expertise;

·        Improving production methods to achieve higher quality, efficiency, manufacturability, and process stability;

·        Adjusting and improving work instructions, routings, tooling, and other production documentation;

·        Guiding production through changes, new methods, and product launches;

Requirements

·        HBO level of education (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar);

·        Experience in a high-tech production environment, for example, in assembly or machining;

·        Knowledge of quality methodologies such as SPC, CPK, PFMEA, and root cause analyses;

·        Experience with Lean Manufacturing and process optimization;

·        Strong technical and analytical skills;

·        Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively as a bridge between production and support departments.

·        Ownership, decisiveness, and a strong drive for improvement.

·        Salary ranging from €3.967 to €5.539 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications;
