Job description

As a Project Manager NPI at NTS Eindhoven, you lead multiple teams that set up the production process for high-tech (sub)assemblies in the Analytical and Semiconductor industry. You lead the production process from development to 'release for volume'.

During the setup of this production process, the product to be realized is still in development and requires close contact with the customer's development department, an OEM in the analytical or semiconductor sector. This involves finding the optimal alignment between functional product requirements and manufacturability in the product and process design.

Furthermore, your tasks are:

• Setting scope and QLTC (Quality, Logistics, Technology, and Costs) targets for the project in consultation with all stakeholders;

• Translating these targets into a project plan with the customer and the project team;

• Achieving a commercial agreement on this in collaboration with account management;

• Leading a multidisciplinary team: Supplier Quality Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and Assembly;

• Planning and controlling the project in relation to set milestones and QLTC frameworks and the changes introduced on them;

• Periodic reporting on progress (internally and externally).

Requirements

To make this role a success, we are looking for a colleague who can function well in a team and act as a point of contact for the customer. You are able to take the lead in the project and go where others stop. You also enjoy making continuous improvements and perform best when you can juggle various tasks. Additionally, you are able to balance between pragmatism and structure.

In addition to these (soft) skills, we are looking for a person with the following characteristics:

• HBO+/WO Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Technical Business Administration;

• Experience as a Project Manager in multidisciplinary complex projects;

• Project management techniques (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI, and/or IPMA;

• Extensive knowledge of prototype construction, developing and improving production processes;

• Experience in the semiconductor and/or analytical industry;

• Knowledge and experience with Lean and Six Sigma.
