Job description

As a QESH Manager at NTS Drachten, you are responsible for the quality, safety, and environmental policy at our Drachten location. You focus on ensuring product quality and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. You advise management, guide improvement projects, and closely monitor our processes and performance. You know how to bring quality and efficiency together, get colleagues on board with improvements, and keep your team moving forward.

Your responsibilities also include:

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality, safety, and environmental policies, with a focus on ISO 13485;

• Advising management on quality and efficiency improvements;

• Initiating, executing, and guiding improvement projects, independently and in project teams;

• Managing and motivating the quality team and other project teams;

• Reporting to customers and suppliers on quality aspects and acting as a point of contact;

• Managing complaint procedures, conducting root cause analyses (RCA), and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA);

• Creating and analyzing quality reports and KPIs, and reporting them to management;

• Conducting and guiding internal and external audits, and if necessary, acting as a project leader in audit preparations;

• Coordinating audits and ensuring follow-up on action points;

• Building support for quality and safety awareness within the organization;

• Training and coaching employees on quality procedures and awareness.

Requirements

• HBO/WO level of education, preferably in a technical field such as mechanical engineering;

• At least 10 years of experience in a similar leadership quality role, preferably in a technical production environment;

• Experience with ISO 13485 and knowledge of quality management systems is a plus;

• Sharp attention to detail, analytical, and determined: you dive into issues and only let go when they are resolved;

• Ability to translate strategic quality plans into measurable results in practice;

• Strong advisory skills, tact, and persuasiveness: you create buy-in at all levels;

• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
