Job description

"At NTS, we make it possible together. Technology inspires and drives us; it's our passion. Every day, we work on unique solutions for complex challenges. Whether it's ultra-complex or ultra-precise solutions, we are proud of what we do and what we deliver."

Do you want to discover together what is possible? Do you find satisfaction in building strong teams and maintaining the highest quality standards in a high-tech precision environment? Are you ready to take responsibility for two specialized quality teams where precision is not an option, but a requirement? Then start as a Team Leader Quality Control at NTS Hengelo and let's make it possible together!

Job Description

As a Team Leader Quality Control at NTS Hengelo, you will lead two specialised teams on a daily basis: the measurement room for the machining department and the final inspection of the precision mechanical assembly in the cleanroom. In total, you will manage +/- 15 measurement technicians and (final) inspectors. You ensure that all quality controls are carried out at the right time, with the right quality. Under your responsibility, each product leaves the factory as it should: checked, documented, and correct.

You are responsible for the setup and continuous improvement of the inspection processes. You focus on making measurement programs and inspection procedures more effective and efficient, proactively identify deviations, and translate them into concrete improvements or investment proposals towards management.

In addition to operational management, you focus on team development. You build two close-knit teams where employees strengthen each other, conduct performance reviews, and coach your people on craftsmanship and collaboration. You work closely with production, logistics, and Quality Engineers and are a reliable link in the internal supply chain of NTS Hengelo.

Your responsibilities also include:

  • Leading, coaching, and motivating +/- 15 quality employees divided between the measurement room and the cleanroom final inspection;

  • Monitoring and optimising measurement programs, in-line inspections, and final inspections for both the machining department and the precision mechanical assembly;

  • Developing and implementing procedures for an efficient and controlled inspection process;

  • Preparing investment proposals for the measurement room and inspection areas and aligning them with management;

  • Conducting performance reviews and being responsible for short-term personnel planning;

  • Managing the competencies and capacity of your own employees;

  • Working closely with Quality Engineers in implementing control measures for quality issues.

Requirements:

We are looking for a decisive team leader with a keen eye for quality processes and the drive to lead two specialised teams. We require:

  • HBO level of education with a degree in (measurement) technology, mechanical engineering, or similar;

  • Demonstrable experience as a manager in an industrial or technical environment, preferably within a measurement room or quality department;

  • Knowledge of measurement technology and experience with CMM systems;

  • Strong in planning, organising, and monitoring and improving processes;

  • Quality-driven and decisive, with a steadfast character and an eye for logistics;

  • Strong communication skills and a team player on the work floor;

  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken, for work instructions, procedures, and communication in the workplace.

Your benefits

At NTS, we combine our passion for technology with innovative solutions for complex challenges. You will have the freedom and trust to fully utilize and develop your talents in a dynamic and energetic environment. We invest in both technology and you as a future colleague!

With this challenge, we offer the following benefits:

  • Salary ranging from €4,750 to €6,000 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications;

  • Over 40 days off: 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days for a full-time position;

  • Personal development and growth opportunities, for example, through training and education;

  • Yearly budget of €150 gross, available for vitality, bike plan, or gym via the Alleo app;

  • Travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometer (max. 50 km one way) or full reimbursement of public transport costs;

  • Excellent pension scheme via PME;

  • Laptop and mobile phone;

  • Free fresh fruit at work.
